Arthur Davis
The Old Country Store in Lorman, Mississippi, has stood sentinel off Old Highway 61 for nearly 150 years. There you’ll find some of the best fried chicken in the country. Arthur Davis, aka Mr. D, welcomes folks from miles around with his grandmother's fried chicken recipe, quintessential soul food, and, if you’re lucky, a song or two.
